These Terms & Conditions outline how I offer somatic therapy, somatic career support, and workplace wellbeing services through OstaraSoma. By using this website or booking a service, you agree to these terms. If you have any questions, please contact me at hello@ostarasoma.com
1. Who I Am
I am Tatiana Vera Ostara, an independent practitioner operating under the trading name OstaraSoma.
2. Scope of Services
Trauma-Informed Somatic Therapy
A body-based, trauma-informed approach that supports nervous system regulation and emotional integration. This is not a medical, psychological, or psychiatric service.
Somatic Career Support
A blend of somatic awareness and practical career guidance. This is not therapy and does not replace regulated career or mental health services.
Somatic Skills for Sustainable Work (Workshops)
Educational sessions for individuals, teams, and organisations to support workplace wellbeing. These workshops are not therapy.
3. Important Disclaimer
I am not a clinical, medical, or psychological professional. I do not diagnose, treat, or cure any physical or mental health condition.
All information offered through sessions, workshops, and this website is for supportive and educational purposes only. It does not replace advice from a GP, psychiatrist, psychologist, or other regulated healthcare provider.
I am an independent practitioner and hold appropriate insurance and undertake regular professional supervision.

4. Confidentiality
Everything shared in sessions is confidential except where required by law or ethical duty, including:
risk of harm to yourself or others
safeguarding concerns
serious criminal activity
court orders
professional supervision (shared anonymously)
You will receive full confidentiality details in your onboarding documents before we begin working together.
5. Fees, Payments & Cancellations
1:1 Trauma Informed Somatic Therapy Sessions
Duration: 60 minutes
Online fee: £80
In-person fee: £140
Payment: Required prior to each session
Cancellation:
Online sessions — 24 hours’ notice
In-person sessions — 48 hours’ notice
Sessions cancelled with less than the required notice, or missed without notice, may be charged in full.
Somatic Career Support (Multi-Session Programmes)
Fee: £80 per session (1 hour)
Payments are made in instalments, due before each session
Cancellation:
Please give 24 hours’ notice
Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or no-shows, are non-refundable
Workshops, Group Sessions & Organisational Bookings
Full payment is required at least 7 days before the workshop date
Refunds:
Cancellations within the 7-day notice period → full refund or credit
Cancellations after the 7-day window or no-shows → non-refundable
This reflects the preparation, planning, and resource commitments involved.
6. Online Sessions
Online work involves risks such as technical issues and reduced privacy. You may discontinue online sessions at any time.
7. Your Responsibilities
You agree to:
work within your own capacity
communicate if something feels overwhelming
seek additional support if needed
I agree to:
work ethically and within scope
honour pacing, consent, and safety
offer referrals when appropriate
8. Not for Crisis Support
My services do not provide crisis intervention. If you need urgent help, contact:

9. Age Requirement
Services are available to adults aged 18+.
10. Payments
Payment is due prior to each 1:1 session or at the time indicated for programmes/workshops. Repeated late payments may result in sessions being paused.
11. Ending the Working Relationship
Either of us may end our work together. When appropriate, endings are discussed to support closure.
I may suggest ending our work if:
your needs fall outside my scope
specialist clinical support is required
sessions are repeatedly missed
payments remain overdue
Referrals will be offered when possible.
12. Accessibility
Please share any access needs. Captions for online sessions can be enabled on request.
13. Data Protection
Your data is handled in accordance with UK GDPR. Please see the Privacy Policy for full details.
14. Acceptance of Terms
By booking a session, workshop, or programme, or by using this website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
