Tatiana Ostara Somatic Therapy
Tatiana Ostara Somatic Therapy

I’m a certified, ACCPH accredited Trauma-Informed Somatic Therapist based in London and my work is somatic and polyvagal informed, meaning I focus on the body and nervous system to support healing and regulation.

Beyond the professional training, I’ve walked this path myself, and my journey began, like for so many of us, with lived experience. Over time, I began learning to reconnect with myself, my body, and my story one step at a time. Life's challenges and transitions taught me how stress, overwhelm, and past patterns can shape the way we behave, move, think, and feel. Through years of personal reflection, nervous system education, professional training, therapy and the process of coming back to myself, I built the foundation for the work I now offer.

Before training as a therapist, I spent over a decade working in talent acquisition, supporting hundreds of individuals and organisations through career transitions, professional growth, and complex workplace challenges. This experience has honed my ability to understand and support individuals through various life situations, difficulties as well as the pressures of modern work environments and the impact they can have on our bodies and minds.

My diverse experiences enhance my ability to connect on a practical and deeply human level, helping you navigate both your internal and external environments. I am passionate about guiding others on their journey to healing and self-discovery, and I look forward to supporting you in finding clarity, confidence, and a deeper connection with yourself.

Gratitude

I give heartfelt thanks to Aimee Rai, whose guidance and experience shaped my training in somatic therapy and to acknowledge the influence of writers and clinicians such as Gabor Maté, Pete Walker, Bessel van der Kolk, Richard Schwartz, Pat Ogden, and Peter Levine, whose work continues to illuminate the relationship between trauma, the body, and the human spirit.

What guides my work

What guides my work

At your pace

Healing isn’t about fixing you; it’s about making space for parts of you that haven’t been seen, heard, or understood. We go gently, at a pace your system can hold.

Body-led awareness

Your body holds quiet wisdom. Together, we learn to listen to its signals not forcing anything, simply staying curious about what arises.

Capacity-building

We explore what helps you feel steadier, more grounded, and more able to meet life. This might be breath, movement, boundaries, or internal anchors that bring you back to yourself.

Establishing safety

Safety and pacing are at the heart of this work. We move slowly, honour your capacity, and create a space where your system can soften, settle, and unwind in its own timing.

What Clients Say

Tatiana creates a warm inviting space, her gentle approach allowed me to open up and explore, bridging somatic regulation techniques with counselling, whilst being met always with deep compassion and understanding. Tatiana's open and grounded approach I would recommend to anyone who is interested in discovering Somatic therapy.

Rhiannon

Tatiana is one of the most compassionate people I know. She listens in a way that makes you feel truly seen and understood, without any rush or judgement. Just being in her presence has a calming, almost tangible aura of safety and warmth. I always leave our conversations feeling softer, clearer, and more connected to myself.

Jiri

Tatiana’s sessions have been a beacon of light in difficult times. She offers a warm, compassionate space that helps me safely connect with my emotions and listen to my body. Instead of acting as an all-knowing teacher, she guides me to trust my own inner wisdom, which feels deeply empowering. I’m learning to accept myself and soothe my own challenges, and I can already feel a positive shift in my outlook and resilience.
